Fact: Governors cannot refuse refugees from the federal government, as we are one nation, not 50.
Fact: All of the Paris attackers thus far have been identified as European Nationals, not Syrian refugees.
Fact: It would be unconstitutional to set up a purity test for entrance into the United States.
Fact: It is also unconstitutional to shut down mosques, and prevent anyone to practice their religion openly.
Fact: Threatening to kill Americans who happen to be Islamic is highly illegal even if it is the popular thing to share on social media. (It can also land you on a terrorist watch list).
Fact: ISIS wins when we decide to put fear into our daily lives and isolate ourselves from the world around us.
Fact: You have a better chance of being killed by cancer, heart disease, stroke, electrocution, murder, car accident, drowning, bee sting, snake bite, choking on food, lightning, bathtub, dog bite, firework accident, falling off of a ladder, or food poisoning.
Don’t see us banning fireworks, food or dogs anytime soon . . . . . food is deadlier then terrorists in America.
We are not the only target of ISIS, and there will be bloodshed but, please do not forget what our nation stands for. To the Syrian refugees, we are a glimmer of hope, prosperity, and safety from being murdered. Lady Liberty stands tall in New York City as a reminder that we will not stand for ruthless evil in the world. We might as well send Lady Liberty back to France if we can not be that glimmer of shining hope anymore
